Your homeowner app guide
How to set up and use the mySigen app
mySigen is the homeowner app for your Sigenergy system. It shows energy flows and lets you manage supported battery, tariff and connected-device functions. The following menu paths use the manufacturer’s terminology; newer releases may place them in a different screen.
1. Activate your owner access
- Install mySigen from the App Store or Google Play. Check the publisher is Sigenergy.
- Give your preferred email to the installer during handover. Open the activation email from sigencloud, set your password and activate the account. Check spam if the message is missing.
- Log in and confirm your own home system appears. Ask us to correct missing access before attempting to add the installation again.
- Check the Home energy diagram and battery level. Use Device for component information and Home → Notice or Service for alarms.

2. Choose how your battery operates
Open Home → Mode, or Setting → Operational Mode. In newer layouts, open the current-mode card to find the energy profile.
Self-Consumption
Solar supplies the home first, then charges the battery; remaining surplus can be exported. The battery supports household demand when solar output falls. Consider this when your priority is using your own generation.
Time-based Control
Set charging and discharging periods around your electricity tariff. Check the action, start/end times and the charge limits shown. Save and reopen the schedule to confirm it. Use the actual cheap-rate periods on your supplier’s plan.
Sigen AI Mode
Uses energy prices, weather and household patterns to plan operation. Check your tariff and reserve before enabling it. Forecasts and savings are estimates; review the plan and actual results rather than assuming every day will behave alike.
Fully Feed-in / Remote EMS
Fully Feed-in prioritises export. Remote EMS hands scheduling to an authorised external energy-management provider. These are specialist strategies to agree with us and the provider, including your export permissions.

3. Review the other settings
Tariff and backup reserve
Review the rate plan and the reserve agreed at handover. More reserved energy means less available for everyday use. Reserve is relevant to a commissioned backup arrangement; changing it does not add a Gateway or backed-up circuits.
Dashboard and forecasts
Personalise the Home dashboard to show the graphs you use most. Current releases include generation, consumption and battery forecasts plus How System Works. Keep forecast values separate from measured results when comparing days.
Connected devices
Use Device to view fitted equipment. EV charging, smart loads and third-party device controls depend on what is installed and supported. Ask us to confirm the charger’s mode and any interaction with the home battery.
Service and app preferences
Open Service for Diagnosis, messages, Support and User Guide. App preferences include display and language options. Keep useful fault notifications enabled and use the support history to follow up an existing issue.

4. Watch the official visual guides
Videos may show an earlier app layout. Follow the current labels on your device and the linked manufacturer guide.
5. Check your changes and get help
Before changing a mode, keep a screenshot of the existing setup. Make one change, confirm it has saved, then compare the next day’s battery and grid graphs. A battery waiting at a reserve or following an automatic plan can be normal. Check for a current alarm before changing more settings.
My system is offline or I changed my Wi-Fi
Check your home internet first. Use the app’s Network Configure option and follow the manufacturer’s reconnection guidance for your equipment. The illustrated manual includes network recovery. If the procedure does not match your hardware, contact us rather than opening covers or changing installation settings.
