Check compatibility before buying an expansion battery
Record the power station model, serial number, software version and the proposed battery model. Confirm the approved connection cable and maximum supported configuration with EcoFlow. Do not infer compatibility from appearance alone.
What does a larger capacity achieve?
Additional stored energy can extend runtime between charges. It does not automatically increase output power, solar-input capacity or the number of appliances that can run together. Compare demand in watts and energy use in watt-hours separately.

Inspect the practical details
Allow space for the equipment, ventilation, cable routing and safe access. Check the weight before planning transport. Used batteries need particular attention to condition, storage history and support terms.
Does expansion create whole-home backup?
No. Supplying fixed circuits requires a suitable professionally designed system. Do not connect portable equipment to house wiring through an ordinary socket or assume a configuration shown for another country is approved for your property.
