EcoFlow DELTA Max portable power station with an extra battery

EcoFlow DELTA Max 1600 Extra Battery

The original EcoFlow DELTA Max 1600 can be assessed for expansion using compatible DELTA Max accessories. Its specifications must not be confused with the DELTA Max 2000 or newer DELTA Max generations.

Why the model number matters

The earlier DELTA Max 1600 has 1,612Wh nominal capacity, while the original 2000 version has 2,016Wh. The power ratings also differ. Do not apply a 2000-model appliance claim to a 1600-model bundle.

Which extra battery is suitable?

Confirm the exact supported expansion-battery model, cable and configuration in EcoFlow’s documentation. A listing described as a “1600 extra battery” should be checked carefully: the main unit’s name alone does not identify the accessory’s capacity.

What will expansion change?

A compatible extra battery increases stored energy for longer runtime. It does not automatically increase charging-input limits or rated output power. Compare the combined nominal storage with realistic usable energy after losses.

Compare a complete solution

List the appliances, expected hours of use and charging opportunities. Include portability, equipment condition, warranty and accessory cost. For a permanently connected home system, assess professional backup equipment rather than treating a portable bundle as a direct substitute.

Check the exact model before ordering

Use the EcoFlow UK manual library for the product generation, UK electrical specification and approved accessories. Confirm availability, included cables and warranty with the supplier.

For a permanently installed household system, see our home battery storage service. Contact Renew-Able Solutions to discuss your intended loads and whether portable or installed storage is appropriate.
