Being asked back to a customer’s home is one of the nicest compliments our team can receive.
For this EV charger replacement in Corstorphine, Edinburgh, we returned to a customer who already knew Renew-Able Solutions. We had previously installed their solar PV and battery system, and when their Tesla Wall Charger developed a fault, they came back to us to replace it.

The faulty Tesla Wall Charger was replaced with the Hypervolt Home 3 Pro in black. As the photograph shows, the unit sits against the exterior wall, with the charging lead stored around the charger and a separate holder for the connector.
A replacement charger is also an opportunity to talk through how charging fits into everyday life. With solar PV and battery storage already at the property, it was especially useful to have a team involved who knew the existing installation.
A proper handover makes all the difference
A new charger also means getting used to a new app. We took time to explain how the Hypervolt app and settings work, helping our customer become familiar with the controls and how to use their new charger.
That handover matters. Clear explanations give customers the chance to ask questions while the installer is there and understand the settings they’ll be using after the team leaves.
Our customer was delighted with the overall effort and the time spent explaining everything. We’re pleased that the care taken with the handover stood out just as much as the installation itself.
