A DELTA 2 extra battery increases the stored energy available to a compatible EcoFlow DELTA 2. It is an expansion accessory, not an independent power station or a universal battery for other DELTA generations.
What does the DELTA 2 extra battery add?
The original DELTA 2 and its matching 1,024Wh extra battery provide 2,048Wh of combined nominal capacity. More energy can extend runtime, but it does not double the main unit’s inverter output. Check the approved connection cable and the precise battery model.
How much longer will appliances run?
Compare the energy your loads use over time. A constant 100W load uses 1kWh over ten hours. Real battery runtime also includes inverter losses, standby demand and the operating conditions. This example is arithmetic, not a measured runtime guarantee.
Does charging take longer?
More depleted capacity requires more energy to refill. Adding an extra battery does not automatically increase the solar-input limit. Check the manufacturer’s charging configuration and allow for variable sunlight if using portable panels.
Is this home backup?
Portable storage can supply suitable directly connected appliances within its limits. Fixed household circuits require an appropriately designed installation. An EPS feature should not be treated as an uninterrupted supply for sensitive equipment without checking its specification.
