The EO Mini Pro 3 is a compact smart home EV charger. However, the earlier Mini Pro and Mini Pro 2 have different specifications and connectivity.
EO Mini Pro 3 size and charging options
EO’s UK home-charging page lists dimensions of 230 × 151 × 125mm and single-phase charging up to 7.2kW. Your vehicle and available electrical supply also limit charging power. See EO’s current product overview.
EO lists a Type 2 socketed option and a tethered version with a 5m cable. For example, a socketed charger can suit drivers who need to choose a separate cable length. Check that the cable can reach the car without crossing a walkway.
Connectivity, solar and tariff compatibility
The manufacturer’s Mini Pro 3 support page lists Wi-Fi, Ethernet and Bluetooth, with optional cellular connectivity. Confirm the supplied variant and signal at the installation point.
Also ask which monitoring or metering accessories the installation needs for load management and solar charging. A charger that allows scheduling is not automatically eligible for every supplier-managed smart tariff. Therefore, check the tariff’s current compatibility list for the precise vehicle or charger integration.
What should the quote include?
Specify socketed or tethered hardware, cable length, required sensors, commissioning and app setup. Do not use an older product’s dimensions or a historical grant offer to budget for this model. Instead, check current scheme and applicant eligibility for any grant.
