The EcoFlow RIVER series includes several generations of portable power stations. The original RIVER, RIVER Max and RIVER Pro should not be treated as interchangeable with later RIVER 2 or RIVER 3 products.
Choose by the loads you want to run
Compare stored energy in Wh, continuous output in W and any startup demand. Charging a laptop for a short session is different from running heating or cooking equipment. List the devices and expected hours before comparing prices.
Original RIVER expansion options
Some earlier models used specific extra batteries. Our original RIVER bundle guide and RIVER Pro expansion guide explain those arrangements. Do not assume every RIVER model is expandable.
Check ports and charging inputs
Socket counts, USB capabilities, solar limits and charging times differ. Even the RIVER mini has standard and wireless versions with different features.
Portable use in Scotland
Allow for weather-dependent solar charging, safe storage and the practical weight of the unit and accessories. Check the current manufacturer’s RIVER range when buying a new model; this archive is not a live stock list.

Use the EcoFlow UK manual library for the product generation, UK electrical specification and approved accessories. Confirm availability, included cables and warranty with the supplier.
